September 2020

Dear Research Community,

Welcome back to September! This summer Black researchers across many disciplines began online events – some conference-style zoom discussions, others twitter roll-calls – to elevate Black researchers. We highlighted one of our graduate students who participated in the events. The movement continues this fall: every week, a new discipline gets the spotlight (check here for a calendar of events). Take a look and share with the colleagues, students, postdocs, trainees in your circles.

Read about some of the great studies from our Jefferson Community below, and get in touch with your news, story ideas, and notification of newly accepted research at edyta.zielinska@jefferson.edu or ResearchNews@jefferson.edu.

Sincerely,
Edyta Zielinska + Karuna Meda
